Bayraktar: Akıncı drone in Azerbaijan was ready to search for Iranian president's helicopter

The advanced Bayraktar Akıncı unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) stationed in Azerbaijan was on high alert to search for the Iranian President's helicopter following its crash.

Selcuk Bayraktar, the technical director of the Turkish defence company Baykar, made this announcement, highlighting the readiness and capabilities of the UAV team, APA reports.

"The technical staff in Azerbaijan was prepared and ready for the search operation," Bayraktar stated, emphasizing the swift response of the Azerbaijani team. Despite the challenging terrain, the Akıncı UAVs were pivotal in detecting the helicopter, showcasing their advanced surveillance and reconnaissance abilities.

Bayraktar commended the collaboration between the Azerbaijani team and Baykar, expressing confidence in the continued success of such joint operations.
