Bayraktar Akıncı succesfully completes fire test with all-new "Gökçe" targeting kit VIDEO
Turkish-made Bayraktar Akıncı combat drone has successfully hit the target during the test fire conducted with the new generation "Gökçe" targeting kit developed by the national industry.
According to a statement made by Baykar, producer of Bayraktar, the integration of new locally produced ammunition and systems into Bayraktar Akıncı continues successfully, Anadolu reports.
As part of the trial fire on December 22, Bayraktar Akıncı flew from the Bayraktar Akıncı Flight Training and Testing Center to Chorlu to conduct fire tests. With the "Gökçe" guidance kit, the drone hit the target with high accuracy from its 1000-pound MK-83 supply (approximately 455 kg).

The Gökçe Guidance Kit, which hit a target marked with a Bayraktar Akıncı laser from a height of 20,000 feet (6,100 metres), was tested on an unmanned aerial vehicle for the first time.
The test was visually captured by a Bayraktar TB2 UAV that took off from the Bayraktar TB2 Flight Training and Test Center in Keshan.
