Since its entry into service in 2014, the Bayraktar TB2 has accumulated over a million flight hours in just a decade.
As the world's leading UAV manufacturer, Baykar has outpaced competitors from the United States, Israel, and China, helping Türkiye to capture 65 per cent of the global UAV market. This achievement is largely attributed to the success of the Bayraktar TB2, which has contributed significantly to the country's dominance in the drone industry.
In total, Bayraktar TB2 drones have flown approximately 150 million kilometers during these one million flight hours. This impressive distance is equivalent to around 40,075 kilometers — the distance of 3,742 trips around the Earth.
Baykar’s success with the Bayraktar TB2 has solidified its position as a leader in the UAV market and has made a significant impact on global defence and surveillance capabilities.
