Belarus Foreign Ministry slams Armenian PM's statements as "shortsighted"
The Belarus Foreign Ministry has criticized Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's recent remarks concerning Minsk, labeling them as "shortsighted."
Anatoly Glaz, spokesperson for the Belarus Foreign Ministry, conveyed this sentiment in response to Pashinyan's statements, TASS reports.
Glaz emphasized the complexities of the current domestic political situation in Armenia and the escalating internal tensions within the country. While acknowledging varying responses to emotional strains, Glaz questioned the relevance of Belarus to the situation.
"We don't understand - what does Belarus have to do with this?" Glaz stated, highlighting the perplexity surrounding attempts to link Belarus to Armenia's internal issues. He suggested that portraying an external enemy to divert attention from internal problems reflects a narrow-minded approach.
