Belarusian president arrives in Kazakhstan for EAEU
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in Astana on a working visit to participate in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit and the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum.
Lukashenko is scheduled to address the forum’s plenary session on May 28, where he will outline Belarus’s position on technological cooperation within the EAEU and discuss the application of artificial intelligence in the real sector of the economy, Caliber.Az reoports via Belarusian media.
He is also expected to present examples of Belarus’s domestic experience in implementing AI-driven technologies.
The EAEU summit in Kazakhstan’s capital will bring together the presidents of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, while Armenia will be represented by its deputy prime minister.
Officials expect the five EAEU member states to adopt a joint statement on the responsible development and use of artificial intelligence within the bloc.
