Blazes erupt near Russian oil refineries as authorities issue alerts PHOTO/VIDEO

A fire has been reported near the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district of southeastern Moscow, ASTRA and Exilenova+ reported.

Russian authorities warned residents that mobile internet services in the area could be disrupted. The Unified State System for Emergency Prevention and Response (RSChS) urged people to remain indoors, avoid approaching windows, and seek shelter if necessary.

Simultaneously, reports also emerged of a similar fire near the Nizhnekamsk Oil Refinery in the Republic of Tatarstan.
