Bloomberg: Iran lost over 90% of missile launchers in war with US, Israel
Iran lost more than 90 per cent of its missile launchers during hostilities against the United States and Israel, US officials told Bloomberg.
The agency notes that the US and Israel "learned their lesson" after the escalation in the summer of 2025 and are now using tactics to destroy launchers and command posts, which deprives Iran of the ability to carry out large-scale strikes. Unlike the missiles themselves, launchers cannot be placed underground or quickly replaced, making them vulnerable and turning them into key targets.
Earlier, the Pentagon said that the number of missile and drone launches by Iran had fallen by 90% and 83%, respectively, compared to the start of the operation. Last week, Israeli television channel I24 claimed that Iran had lost 60% of all its missile launchers and air defence systems during the fighting.
