Bomb blasts in Nigeria's Borno state claim 18 lives

Tragedy struck in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state as bomb blasts rocked multiple locations, resulting in the deaths of at least 18 people and injuring 48 others, reported the state's emergency services.
The incidents unfolded on Saturday afternoon local time, starting with an explosion during a wedding ceremony, followed by subsequent blasts at General Hospital Gwoza and a funeral site, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
Dr. Barkindo Muhammad Saidu, the director general of Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), visited the blast site in Gwoza Town where men, women, and children were among the casualties.
