Bus bursts into flames after crash in Türkiye, eight dead, dozens injured

A tragic road accident involving an intercity bus occurred on May 31 in Türkiye’s Denizli province, leaving eight people dead and 33 others injured.

According to TRT Haber, the bus was traveling from Izmir to Antalya with 38 passengers and three crew members on board when it crashed into a roadside barrier and caught fire while in motion.

Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene, where they evacuated passengers and extinguished the blaze.

The injured were transported to city hospitals by ambulances, the report said.
