Bus crash in Iran leaves 13 dead, multiple injured PHOTO / VIDEO
A road accident involving a bus on the Isfahan–Natanz highway in Iran left 13 people dead and 13 injured.
After receiving first aid at the scene, the injured were transported by ambulances to nearby hospitals, Caliber.Az reports per Iranian media.
Initial investigations indicated the bus, travelling northbound, veered off its lane after hitting the central guardrails, entered the opposite lane, collided with a taxi, and then overturned.
The head of Isfahan highway police confirmed that 11 bus passengers, along with the bus and taxi drivers, were killed, while 13 others were injured and swiftly transferred to medical centres by emergency responders.
According to Iranian authorities, the exact cause of the accident is under investigation by highway police experts, and further details will be released once confirmed.
