Bus crash in Kazakhstan kills five, including Uzbek citizens
A major road accident occurred in Kazakhstan's Aktobe region, leaving five people dead, including foreign nationals, Kazakh outlet Orda.kz reports.
According to Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, on December 7, a Yutong bus travelling on the Perm–Tashkent route veered off the road and overturned in a ditch. The bus was carrying 49 passengers. Five people were killed, including two Uzbek citizens.
“Officials of the ministry are in contact with their colleagues in Kazakhstan. They are jointly investigating the cause of the accident,” the Uzbek Emergencies Ministry said in a statement.
Kazakh authorities have not provided any additional details. Orda.kz has already sent an inquiry to the Aktobe regional police department.
