Bus overturns in Türkiye's Sivas, leaving two dead and 18 injured PHOTO
A passenger bus overturned at the entrance to the district center of Imranlı in the Sivas province, on the Sivas-Erzincan highway in Türkiye.
According to Turkish media, after receiving the notification, both police and gendarmerie units were dispatched to the scene of the incident, Caliber.Az reports.
Medical teams were also quickly sent to the location.
As a result of the crash, two people lost their lives, and 18 others sustained injuries. The injured individuals were transported to the Imranlı state hospital for medical treatment.
This incident follows another tragic accident on February 14, when a bus traveling on the Şırnak-Erzurum route lost control near the village of Doğanca in the Genç district, on the Bingöl-Diyarbakır highway. The bus overturned into a ditch, resulting in five fatalities and 31 injuries.
