Caspian states discuss region's development, environmental problems
The countries of the Caspian region discussed opportunities and priorities for the region's development, environmental problems, and ways to solve them.
The discussion took place at the 3rd International Scientific Forum “Caspian 2023: Ways of Sustainable Development,” which began its work in Russia’s Astrakhan on May 29, Report informs.
The forum also discussed the development of science and education in the face of new challenges and opportunities.
Besides, the internationalisation of higher education, problems of media education in the countries of the Caspian region were also discussed at the forum.
The participants of the forum, held by the Astrakhan State University, will also discuss issues of integrated security, including cultural, economic, environmental and legal aspects.
The forum, which will run until May 31, is attended by experts from the Caspian countries, as well as the countries of Central Asia.
