Starting August 1, the airline will operate cargo flights on the Hong Kong–Almaty route up to five times per week using Boeing 747 aircraft.
From January 2027, Cathay Pacific plans to introduce scheduled passenger services on the same route, operating three times weekly with Airbus A330 aircraft.
Cathay Pacific operates a fleet of more than 230 aircraft and serves around 100 destinations. Its cargo division transports over 1.67 million tonnes of freight annually.
