Caucasus Muslims Office, OIC discuss prospects of cooperation PHOTO

Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh-ul Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade has met with Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The sides discussed prospects of further cooperation, Report informs.

Pashazade conveyed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's greetings to the OIC chief and expressed gratitude on behalf of the Azerbaijani people to Taha and the organisation for the adoption of five resolutions put forward at the initiative of Azerbaijan at the OIC Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Mauritania.

For his part, Taha expressed satisfaction with the level of relations between Azerbaijan and the OIC and hailed Azerbaijan's active role within the organization and in the international arena.
