CENTCOM announces completion of new wave of strikes on Iran

US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that American forces have completed another wave of strikes against military targets in Iran.

According to the command, the operation targeted facilities in Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa Island, and Bandar Abbas.

“CENTCOM forces employed precision munitions against Iranian coastal defense systems, missile and drone sites, and maritime capabilities,” the command stated.

CENTCOM claimed that the targeted sites had been used to support attacks on commercial shipping.

The command also stated that more than 50,000 US military personnel are currently deployed across the Middle East, adding that US forces remain “at full combat readiness.”
