CENTCOM conducts strikes on Iranian radar, drone facilities
This weekend, US Central Command (CENTCOM) carried out defensive strikes targeting Iranian radar installations as well as drone command-and-control facilities located in Goruk, Iran, and on Qeshm Island.
The carefully planned operations took place on May 30-31 following hostile actions by Iran, including the downing of a US MQ-1 drone flying in international airspace, Caliber.Az reports, citing CENTCOM.

In response, American fighter jets rapidly neutralised Iranian air defence systems, a drone control centre, and two one-way attack drones considered a direct danger to vessels navigating nearby waters.
No US personnel were injured during the operations.
CENTCOM stated it remains committed to safeguarding American forces and interests against unjustified Iranian aggression throughout the current ceasefire period.
