Chechen woman reported missing found dead in Yerevan

Armenian police have discovered the body of a Chechen woman who had been reported missing since October 17.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that the deceased has been identified as Aishat Baymuradova, 23, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

Baymuradova was reported missing on October 17. Two days later, authorities received a tip that a woman’s body had been found in a rental apartment in Yerevan.

Police and forensic teams attended the scene and confirmed the body belonged to Baymuradova.

Medical examinations have been ordered to determine the cause of death, while a preliminary investigation is underway.
