Chief propagandist of Islamic Jihad killed in Gaza

An air strike in the Gaza Strip killed Wael Abou Fanouna, the head of the propaganda unit of the Islamic Jihad group.

For at least seven years Fanouna was responsible for filming videos of rocket attacks on Israeli territory, and also filmed and distributed videos with hostages on social networks as part of psychological terror, Caliber.Az reports citing the press service of the Israel Defense Forces.

Fanouna was an assistant to Khalil al-Bahtini, the commander of Islamic Jihad forces in the north of the sector.
