Child killed in Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region
An 8-year-old girl was killed overnight in Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, regional authorities said on June 19.
The attack hit several areas, including Pavlohrad, the Nikopol district and the Synelnykove District, according to the regional military administration.
The head of the administration, Oleksandr Ganza, said the strike on Pavlohrad killed a child and injured a 49-year-old woman, who was hospitalised in a moderate condition. Residential buildings, a post office and a vehicle were damaged, and two private houses caught fire, one of which was destroyed.
In the Nikopol district, the cities of Nikopol, along with the communities of Krasnohorivka, Pokrovske, Myrove and Marhanets, came under fire. Authorities reported damage to an industrial facility, a post office, private homes and a vehicle.
In the Synelnykove district, strikes hit the Dubovykivka and Vasylkivka communities, damaging a sports school and an unused building.
