Children’s entertainment centre catches fire in Semey, Kazakhstan

A children’s entertainment centre caught fire in the city of Semey, with 120 firefighters working in reinforced mode to tackle the blaze.
The information was shared on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
In an official statement, the ministry noted that by the time the first fire units arrived, the building was already fully engulfed in flames. The fire has now been contained.
Authorities added that firefighting efforts were complicated by high fire load, heavy smoke, and the structural features of the building. According to the shopping centre administration, people evacuated the building on their own. No information about casualties has been reported.
