Chinese President Xi Jinping arrives in Kyrgyzstan for state visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for a state visit.

He was welcomed at Manas International Airport by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and First Lady Aigul Japarova, Caliber.Az reports via Kyrgyz media.

Xi Jinping arrived together with his wife, Peng Liyuan. The Chinese delegation also includes Cai Qi, Director of the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

During his visit to Kyrgyzstan, the Chinese president will also attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, which will be held in Bishkek.

This is Xi Jinping’s third visit to Kyrgyzstan.
