CIS heads of government schedules key meeting
The Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will hold its next meeting on September 29, CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev announced ahead of the upcoming session of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of member states.
Lebedev emphasised the date of the meeting, clarifying that it would take place on September 29, correcting earlier reports that had suggested the gathering would occur on September 30 in Minsk, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
The agenda for the session is expected to cover 14 issues and include drafts of 25 documents. Among the key topics is the implementation plan for the second stage of the CIS Economic Development Strategy for 2026–2030.
