Crosses stolen from Armenian church Surb Hovhannes

Crosses have been stolen from the Surb Hovhannes Church in Hovhannavank and a church in Artashat, with each church suffering approximately 100,000 drams ($273) in damage, the country’s Interior Ministry has said.

According to the ministry, the reports have been duly processed, and operational measures are currently underway, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

“According to preliminary data, each church suffered damage of approximately 100,000 drams ($273). The reports have been duly processed, and operational measures are currently underway,” the ministry noted.
