Czech envoy summoned over attack on Russian House in Prague

The Czech ambassador to Moscow has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia following an attack on the Russian House in Prague, with Moscow formally lodging a protest over the incident.

According to Kommersant newspaper, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russia is demanding that the Czech authorities carry out a full investigation, identify those responsible, and ensure they are punished.

The incident occurred late on March 26, when unidentified individuals targeted the cultural centre in Prague by throwing bottles containing flammable liquid. Of the six Molotov cocktails used in the attack, three failed to detonate. The assailant fled the scene.
