DDoS attack disrupts services at Russian hosting provider used by media
A major Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on the infrastructure of Russian hosting provider Datahouse has caused disruptions for multiple online platforms relying on its services.
The attack has resulted in outages affecting both Datahouse’s own website and the websites of clients hosted by the company, Caliber.Az reports via Telegram channel Telekomunalka.
Among the impacted sites are Russian technology media outlets Mobile-Review and iXBT.com.
According to the ‘Telekomunalka’ message, Datahouse.ru has been offline since the night before the report, leaving their cloud hosting services unavailable to users.
Datahouse is part of the Filanko Group and operates a network of data centres across Russia, including facilities in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Yekaterinburg. The company’s centres meet Tier II and Tier III standards for reliability.
In August last year, Datahouse launched a new data centre near Zvenigorodskoye Shosse, featuring a power capacity of 7.7 MW, with plans for expansion up to 60 MW.
