Deadly drone strike kills civilian in Russia’s Belgorod region

An FPV drone attack in Russia’s Belgorod region has left one civilian dead, regional authorities announced.

The incident occurred in the village of Repyakhovka, where a drone struck the grounds of a private residence. A man was killed at the scene after sustaining fatal injuries.

The Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed the details in a statement on his Telegram channel. He expressed condolences to the victim’s family and close relatives.

Gladkov also reported that the victim’s father was injured in the attack. He was taken to Krasnoyaruzhskaya Central District Hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with shrapnel wounds to the head, abdomen, arms, and legs. The injured man is currently being transferred by ambulance to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod for further treatment.
