Death toll from US, Israeli strikes on Iran reaches 787

The number of casualties in Iran from ongoing US and Israeli strikes, which began on February 28, has climbed to 787, Middle Eastern media reports, citing the Iranian Red Crescent Society.

Earlier reports had placed the death toll at 555.

The Iranian Red Crescent confirmed that the strikes have been recorded in at least 504 locations across the country. On March 2, the organization stated that more than 100,000 personnel had been deployed to provide emergency aid and support to affected areas.

The widespread nature of the attacks has prompted large-scale humanitarian efforts, as the Red Crescent continues to respond to urgent medical and logistical needs.
