Debris from a Ukrainian Armed Forces unmanned aerial vehicle struck a residential high-rise building in Russia’s city of Rostov-on-Don, killing one person, the regional governor said.
Preliminary information suggests that the 14th floor of the building was affected, with parts of the drone and fragments of the facade falling onto parked cars, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Russian Telegram channel Mash.
During the clearing of rubble in one of the high-rise buildings, the body of a man was found; his identity is currently being established, the regional governor said.
Explosions were heard in the Leventsovka, Sovetsky, and Chkalovsky districts. As a result of the attack, several residential buildings were damaged, and debris also fell on the premises of an industrial facility, where fires broke out.
