Decapitated body of Uzbek citizen found in Istanbul, Türkiye

Turkish authorities are investigating the death of a citizen of Uzbekistan after her decapitated body was discovered in Istanbul.

According to Sabah, the decapitated body of a woman was discovered wrapped in a bedsheet inside a garbage container in the Şişli district. Fingerprint identification confirmed the victim as 37-year-old Durdona Hakimova, a citizen of Uzbekistan.

The area around the scene has been cordoned off, and investigators continue to examine the circumstances of the incident.
