Defence ministers of SCO, CIS member states to meet in Russia

The defence ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will meet in Moscow on December 9.

“The sides will exchange views on international and regional security issues, further strengthening cooperation in the field of defence, and discuss issues of mutual interest in accordance with the agenda,” Gazeta.Ru reports citing the Belarussian Defence Ministry.

The Belarusian military delegation at the meeting will be represented by Defence Minister, Lieutenant-General Viktor Khrenin.
