"Diaspora, Karabakh clan do not want peace with Azerbaijan because they will lose their money" New revelations of Armenian blogger

A woman was fired from her job for refusing to vote in the Hayakve initiative, aimed at criminalising in Armenia the recognition of Karabakh as an integral part of Azerbaijan.

This became known from a video clip of Armenian blogger Roman Baghdasaryan, Caliber.Az reports per his Facebook page.

Earlier, Roman Baghdasaryan was contacted by a resident of Stepanavan (Jalaloglu - ed.) Marine Matevosyan. She recently started working as a forewoman at the Tashir-Kar garment factory (owned by Russian citizen, Armenian oligarch Samvel Karapetyan, and is part of the Tashir group of companies - ed.).

"Everything was normal for over a month until the Hayakve knocked on the door of the Tashir-Kar factory. They gathered the people and said that there would be a Hayakve meeting, residents of Kalinino and Tashir could participate in the culture house, and for the factory workers the meeting would be held in the factory. At this time, I asked if it was compulsory for us to participate in this initiative. I was told that it was not compulsory, but we will form an opinion about you. This was said in a very arrogant tone. At this point, I said that I was respecting the chain of command and asked them not to raise their voices at me. When all the people had dispersed, I asked the girls to get to work. As we returned to our workplaces, the foreman of the other group came up to me and smilingly told me to go home. I said goodbye to everyone, gathered my things and went home. Then I called and said that I would not just quit my job and that I would sue. After that I got a call telling me I wasn’t fired," Marine Matevosyan said.

During the conversation with Marine, Roman Baghdasaryan said that he will come to this garment factory and tell the director that the son of billionaire Samvel Karapetyan will not go to fight in Karabakh.

"If the director of the factory is watching [the video], I address her. How are you not ashamed that you require your workers to sign anything" the blogger asked.

Roman Baghdasaryan also noted that he and his companions are closely following what is happening in Abovyan city, they have information that the mayor of the city is doing the same dirty deeds. They also closely follow what is going on in Gyumri, where the employees of the city hall go door-to-door and demand people to sign something.

"Our prime minister has already said that we need to live in peace with our neighbours. Again, I repeat that there are people in Russia and in Karabakh who say that we should fight, go to war. They themselves have not fought and will not fight. The head of the community in Rostov and the head of the community in Krasnodar have not and will not send their sons to war. No head of the Armenian community in Russia has sent or will send his son to war. And the Karabakh residents are busy stealing money. Yerazs and their priests are stealing money by speculating on Karabakh's problems. They don't want peace with Azerbaijan because they will lose their money. They are all making money out of it. Dashnaks are making money on the grief of Armenian soldiers. Yezras and Garegin make money, racketeer Ara Abrahamyan collects money from everyone, his people and he himself will not fight. They all need war to make money," the blogger said.
