Disney closes its social networks, websites in Russia

Disney has removed the Russian website, as well as the YouTube channel and social media accounts for Russian users.

When trying to go to disney.ru website users get to the American website, Gazeta.Ru reports.

The Star Wars Russia channel is also no longer available on YouTube. Now Russian users can only access archived live broadcasts of the company.

Disney announced in March that it was leaving the Russian market and would no longer dub its films into Russian. Such companies as Sony, Warner, Paramount and Universal Pictures also left Russia.
