Drone attack attempt thwarted in Russia’s Rostov region

A Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was shot down in the Kamensky district of Russia’s Rostov region following an attempted overnight attack, regional authorities said.

The governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar, reported the incident on his Telegram channel, noting that air defence systems intercepted and destroyed the drone during the night.

According to preliminary information, no casualties or damage have been reported so far. Officials said details are still being verified.
