29 September 2026 11:18
Operations at the Krasny Kamen international checkpoint on the Belarus-Russia border have been suspended following a drone attack overnight.
The checkpoint is currently closed to both passenger cars and lorries, according to Mash.
Reports said attacks on the crossing intensified on September 26, with drones striking and detonating two Belarusian lorries in Russia’s Bryansk Region. No injuries were reported.
An air-raid alert has been introduced at the checkpoint, while traffic is being diverted through Smolensk Region.
Krasny Kamen was also targeted during the summer. At least three attacks on lorries were recorded there within one week, including vehicles carrying Iranian food products.
