Drone attack on Tatarstan leaves people injured, damages homes

People have been injured in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, following a massive drone attack on the city, the press service of Tatarstan’s head said.

All those injured are under medical observation, according to Russian media.

Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has instructed relevant services to promptly address the consequences of the attack and provide all necessary assistance to those affected.

The press service also reported disruptions to the operations of an industrial cluster and damage to residential buildings.

“The largest number of UAVs targeted the Zakamye area. Thanks to the coordinated work of mobile teams and the air defence system, casualties and serious destruction were avoided,” the statement said.
