Drone strike damages Russian polling station on election day

A drone attack damaged a polling station in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai on September 18, regional operational headquarters confirmed.

The attack damaged the premises where the polling station was located, while no injuries were reported.

The incident occurred as Russia began voting in elections for members to the State Duma of the ninth convocation.

Voting is being held from September 18 to 20, with polling stations open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time.
