Drone wreckage found in western Kazakhstan

Photos and reports have emerged on messaging apps showing that a drone has crashed near a village in Western Kazakhstan.

The local police department confirmed the incident to Moy Gorod news outlet. According to authorities, objects resembling drone fragments were found in the Akzhaik district, and an investigation is currently underway.

“The object was discovered outside the residential area. All circumstances of the incident are being determined,” police said.

Officials noted that this is not the first instance of drone crashes in the region.
