Drones strike industrial zone in Russia, two injured

An industrial zone in the settlement of Morozov in Russia’s Leningrad Region was targeted in a drone attack, Caliber.Az reports, citing local authorities.

The area houses an explosives factory. Two people have been injured.

“So far, seven enemy drones have been shot down. Preliminary reports indicate debris fell in the Vsevolozhsky District. In the industrial zone of Morozov settlement, the roof of a disused building was damaged. Two people were hospitalised, with no threat to their lives,” wrote the governor of Leningrad Region.

As ASTRA noted, the Morozov settlement hosts the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Morozov Factory,” a defence industry enterprise specialising in the production of explosives. Whether this facility was the target of the attack is not yet confirmed.
