Drones target six districts in Russia’s Rostov region

Six districts of Russia’s Rostov region came under a drone attack overnight, according to local authorities.

Regional Governor Yuri Slyusar said drones were destroyed in the cities of Taganrog and Bataysk, as well as in the Chertkovsky, Verkhnedonsky, Millerovsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky, Tatsinsky and Milyutinsky districts, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian independent media.

He said there had been no reports of casualties or damage on the ground, adding that the information would be clarified.

Residents of Rostov-on-Don reported loud explosions and air-defence activity after midnight. Some residents also reported power cuts early on the morning of September 23.
