Earthquake hits Armenia’s Gegharkunik province

An earthquake struck Armenia, with the tremors measuring 3–4 points at the epicentre, according to Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Rescue Service said the earthquake occurred at 12:17 pm local time, 3km southeast of the village of Shoghakat, and it had a magnitude of 2.8, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
The tremors were felt in the villages of Shoghakat, Artanish, Drakhtik and Jil in Gegharkunik Province.
