Earthquake rocks southeastern Georgia, tremors reach Armenia

A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck southeastern Georgia, with tremors also reported in parts of neighboring Armenia.

The earthquake was recorded at 18:04 near the city of Dmanisi, approximately 61 kilometres from Tbilisi, at a depth of 10 kilometres, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.

No casualties or structural damage have been reported following the tremor.

Armenian media reported that the earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh and Sizavet in Shirak Province, as well as in Pakhakhbyur, Dzyunashogh and Metsavan in Lori Province.

The tremors were reportedly felt at an intensity of 2–3 points in the affected Armenian settlements.
