Egypt, Türkiye carry out combined air force training PHOTO

Egypt and Türkiye are conducting joint air force exercises at Egyptian air bases, with drills including theoretical phases, such as the standardisation of combat concepts and the exchange of training experience, as well as practical sorties focused on joint operational missions.

The types and number of aircraft involved have not been disclosed publicly, Caliber.Az reports, citing Clash Report.

The exercises follow joint naval drills Sea of Friendship held in September 2025, which marked the first Egypt–Turkey naval exercises in 13 years.

Just two years ago, such joint air exercises between the two countries would have been considered unthinkable.
