Egyptian president: Cairo ready to mediate Baku-Yerevan normalisation

Egypt is ready to mediate between Armenia and Azerbaijan to normalize the relations between the two countries.

Egyptian President Abdulfattah al-Sisi made the remarks at a meeting with Armenian President Vahagn Khachatryan in Yerevan, Report informs.

"During my conversation with you, I noted that we have a neutral position on the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, and in that sense, if you accept our mediation and would like us to mediate or take on that role, then we are ready", al-Sisi told Khachaturyan.
