Envoy: Yerevan, Delhi to develop cooperation in defence sphere
Indian Ambassador to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha said that cooperation in the defence and pharmaceutical sectors is one of the promising areas for bilateral cooperation.
"Relations between Armenia and India are friendly and very warm. You know that our countries are united by centuries-old interaction," Sinha said in a conversation with Armenian journalists, Caliber.Az reports.
The ambassador noted that the warm level of political relations between the sides is used to develop interaction in other spheres, in particular, their transformation into more concrete economic ties.
Sinha stressed that the Cabinets of both countries are working with businesses to gradually and consistently increase bilateral economic and commercial ties.
The Ambassador recalled that at the end of April, the Armenian health minister had attended a summit in India where memorandums had been signed with a number of leading hospital networks.
Currently, work is underway to simplify the registration of medicines by Indian pharmaceutical companies in Armenia.
