02 April 2026 11:20
The Epstein files are being reviewed for possible links to Kazakh officials, Deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Yerlan Utegenov has said, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
He stated that approximately 3 million messages are currently being examined, many of which are fragmented or contain offensive language. The main focus is on mentions of Kazakh citizens and discussions related to Kazakhstan.
According to Utegenov, the review of Kazakh officials’ potential involvement is ongoing. Final results will be presented once the analysis is complete.
Due to the large volume of information, the investigation requires time, and all materials need to be carefully studied and cross-checked, he emphasised.
