Erdogan approves decree on migration cooperation with Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has approved the "Agreement on cooperation in the field of migration between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan", Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
To recall, the document was signed between Azerbaijan and Türkiye on March 6, 2024, in Ankara.
Later, in July 2024, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan approved the migration agreement. This agreement aims to enhance bilateral collaboration in managing migration flows, ensuring the protection of migrants' rights, and facilitating their integration into host societies.
