Erdogan condemns Dagestan attacks in call with Putin

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan initiated a telephone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the recent terrorist attacks in Dagestan, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.
During the conversation, Erdogan strongly condemned the terrorist acts and reiterated Türkiye's staunch opposition to all forms of terrorism.
He expressed sincere condolences to the Russian people for the lives lost and conveyed wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in the attacks.
Erdogan emphasized Türkiye's commitment to actively contributing towards resolving regional conflicts and fostering stability in the affected areas.
It should be noted that on the evening of June 23, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks struck the cities of Makhachkala and Derbent in Russia’s Dagestan Republic, resulting in the deaths of 20 people and injuries to 46 others. Among the dead and injured are both civilians and law enforcement officers.
