Erdoğan: Opposition can’t govern itself, let alone Türkiye

President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wrote on his Telegram channel that the public has stopped watching television dramas and instead now follows the ongoing scandals within the Republican People’s Party (CHP) each evening.

“Intrigues, conspiracies, slander, traps, comedy, tragedy — whatever you want. In words, they want to govern Türkiye, but they cannot govern either themselves or the CHP. May God grant them wisdom…,” Erdoğan stated.

Through these comments, the president once again highlighted the internal disputes of the country’s main opposition party and emphasised what he characterised as its inability to manage its own affairs, let alone the country.
