Erdogan's visit to Azerbaijan for Victory day parade under discussion, official says
The visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Azerbaijan to attend the Victory Day Parade is under discussion, Turkish Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Enes Eminoglu said.
Speaking about the current state of Turkish-Azerbaijani relations, Eminoglu emphasised the need to further strengthen ties, particularly among young people. He highlighted the importance of cooperation between young entrepreneurs as a key element in deepening bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Eminoglu also reflected on the shared history of the two countries, describing the liberation of Karabakh after the 44-day war as a great victory for both nations. He recalled how, during that time, the slogan “Karabakh is Azerbaijan” was widely declared, and noted that today, in solidarity with the Palestinian people, the message “Gaza is Palestine” is being voiced just as strongly.
